Now that manufacturers are creating add-on lenses for cellphone cameras similar to the one we saw at CES. They need to step up their funny to attract your attention. This iPhone telescopic lens does just that, adding a nifty protective iPhone case to go along with the lens. The good news is that it does seem to zoom in a crapload (see photo after jump) and long distances with the power of a digital camera and video it is like taking a portable video camera/still camera in your iPhone. but unless that lens unscrews from the body, there's no way you can call the iPhone "pocketable". It says it's an absolute must for people who want to snoop without being noticed. But if the iPhone's camera was better I'd consider something like this. For the lame 2MP camera witch crap low-light performance, I don't think it's worth it. That and it's dorky.But it's really a Interesting and cool gadget. Makes me paradoxical, Have anyone tried this? What do you think of it?

iPod Touch Tricks for you!

First of all let me state that these are the best of the tips I have learned from other forums (ipodtouchfans.com and apple-touch.com) or from the iPod Touch features guide on apple’s website so I don’t believe they are propriety information. I think they are some valuable tips that either Noobs or experienced users can use. I would be happy to edit my post from time to time with tips that you all suggest.

1. If you double click the home button in any application, or with the screen off will bring up the music controls. This will not work if completely powered off.

2. When inputting a great deal of text in Safari turn it to horizontal view. The keyboard will be bigger and you can get a better grip of the Touch while typing with two thumbs.

3. If you have made a spelling mistake, press and hold the word you spelled wrong and a magnifying glass will appear. Slide your finger back and forth to move the cursor bubble. This also works when manually keying in addresses in safari.

4. When scrolling through a long page in Safari - tap the bar at the top of your screen containing the address bar, time, and battery, Safari will automatically return to the top of the page and the show address bar.

5. Power saving tip:Turn off WiFi in the settings menu to save iPod battery power when not in use.

6. Holding down letters on the keyboard will pop up the accents/symbols associated with those letters. Once it pops up, slide your finger over to the accent/symbol you like.

7. In Safari double tap to zoom in. You can also "pinch" (putting your thumb and index finger on the screen and pinching in and out) to zoom in Safari and in Pictures.

8. You can charge your iPod Touch from any powered USB port. Such as a computer, printer, media center. The device does not have to have iTunes installed to provide power to your iPod Touch. Also per apple’s website the old iPod Chargers that use a fire wire input will charge your iPod but I am not sure if they will sync it.

9. When watching a movies/video, tap to bring up the onscreen controls. When you are done watching a video make sure you press done so your progress will be saved. Also Blue dots on the movie list screen mean at movies has not been played.

10. When typing if you want to add something from the numbers keyboard just hold down the numbers and slide your finger to the number or symbol you want, and release. It will take you back to your letters keyboard. This way you won’t have to tap numbers, tap your number, then tap numbers again to go back. This also applies for using the 'shift' key to apply capital letters.

11. In Safari, if you are presented with a link hold your finger over that link, and a bubble will appear showing the URL that the link is tied to.

12. A good web based instant messanger is www.meebo.com www.meebo.com for AIM, yahoo, MSN, and google talk users.

13. To organize Videos or Movies:

Open iTunes, on movie file right click, "Get Info".
Go to video tab, change video kind to "TV Show" and add show name (category to organize by).
Files with same show name will be grouped into one folder

14. If you want to makes your ipod touch be much more attractive . An unique ipod touch case will gives your iPod Touch a great look and style. And it is supposed to give your ipod Touch protection from scratches and minor drops. Dust resistant and keep dust from absorbing on the iPod Touch screen protector case for much static charge.

Hundreds of iPhone cases have been released in a variety of styles and colors since the iPhone was released. Those who invest in this new exciting technology will no doubt look for a good way to protect their investment.

I just got my two iPhone cases from www.easyipodshop.com I really love what they’ve done with color for the flip style case (bought mine in slate blue) and with the classic black for my holster. The interiors are superb, all velvet and very soft to the touch, and the finishings are one of the best I’ve seen. Comparable to Sena and Vaja but about half the price (40 bucks plus shipping)

I couldn’t stop congratulating myself for choosing this iPhone leather case over many others that I considered when looking for a case for my new iPhone. The material truly is first class leather and the craftsmanship is top-notch. The item is relatively inexpensive and shipping from CoverCase was amazing. I really cannot remember the last time I had such a marvelous online shopping experience!

I see posts like this and I have to say .. dont get it … why spend $2.99 plus dollars then more to protect a screen when you can get a case like the Otterbox Defender iPhone case for $49 and then you have something that actually protects your iPhone. I had the others they offer bump protection .. the defender case that I bought from easyipodshop.com is great .. I now dont worry and the case comes with a belt clip and built in screen and camera protector…. I know you can find prettier cases but you have to ask fashion or a broken iPhone …

After reading all the posts I went to easyiPodshop.com got my case there …. .. the otterbox defender case I did not need to purchase a iPhone screen protector or anything else .. just the case and my iphone is not easier to hold and it a case that looks like it will protect my phone … Thank you for the tip about that site and I would definately recomend them …. good prices … got it fast and they did not rip you off with shipping .. heck I only paid $5.0 for shipping!
